I founded Holistic Doula NYC because I know that birth can be a positive transformative experience when mothers and their partners have good information, the right resources, and continuous labor support. As a former labor and delivery nurse in one of Manhattan’s busiest hospitals, my focus with women in labor was not only on their physical safety, but also on assisting mothers and birth partners to trust the process, find their strength, and surrender to the rhythm of birth—three essential components of empowered birthing.

I teach the private customizable Truly Holistic Pregnancy and Childbirth Series and offer a First Things First Early Bird Consultation Course, and I provide holistic RN services and doula support for women before, during, and after pregnancy for  home, birth center, and hospital births, including cesarean deliveries. I also love to write and speak about health, wellbeing, pregnancy, and birth any chance I can and do so on the HDNYC blog regularly.
